The mission of the Holland & Area Community Foundation is to help local organizations strengthen and build our community. We provide an opportunity for community members to leave a lasting legacy of their choice to the community.
The Foundation is a registered charity that accepts gifts/donations to set up a savings account or permanent endowment. Interest from the investment goes back into the community in the form of grants to support various groups and projects. The principle is never spent, only the interest generated is granted to qualifying projects.
Contribute Today
Gifts or donations may be designated for general charitable purposes of the Foundation or may be designated to a specific organization. Donations may be made "In Memory Of" and designated to an organization. All gifts above $20.00 qualify for a deduction for Income Tax purposes and provide significant income tax savings. Donors should seek professional advice regarding individual income tax implications.
